New Studio Swine exhibition opens at Seed130: Crafting the Future from What Remains
The latest exhibition to arrive at Seed130 is Studio Swine: Crafting the Future from What Remains. Its aim? For viewers to rethink their relationship with materials, particularly those that pollute our planet, and to show how waste can be reimagined.
From ‘Sea Chair’, a sculptural stool formed from plastic debris collected in the ocean, to ‘Can City’, bespoke furniture pieces produced from – you guessed it – melted aluminium cans collected on the bustling streets of São Paulo.
Seed130 is a meanwhile cultural intervention which offers a living lab for ideas, designed to foster experimentation, dialogue and collaboration. The exhibition is open to the public on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 12-7pm. Head down to Seed130 to explore this thought-provoking work for yourself.
