Friday 30th May 2025: Seed130 to host panel discussion on AI to Net Zero

Friday 30th May 2025, Seed130, will be hosting a panel discussion asking can AI help save the planet – or hasten its decline? 

Bringing together artist Matt Collishaw, bioethics expert Dr Gabrielle Samuel and environmental scientist and lecturer at UCL Professor Jacqueline McGlade, the panel will be chaired by the Founder of Futurecity, Mark Davy. 

Discussions will focus on examining ‘green AI’ and whether it will offer a genuine shift, if AI can advance the change to renewable energy methods and how these technologies intersect with issues of justice, power and planetary stewardship.
