Four with CO—RE: Julian Sharpe and James Elliott, tp bennett, on Stonecutter

“We are really proud to say this is the City of London’s lowest embodied carbon [new] building” - Julian Sharpe, tp bennett. 

For episode three of the Four with CO—RE series, we headed to Stonecutter to chat to the architects, tp bennett’s James Elliot and Julian Sharpe, about the exceptional, sustainability-led workspace, which will become the new headquarters for law firm Travers Smith. 

Stonecutter, just footsteps away from Fleet Street, is set across 13-storeys, with a design inspired by the nearby Hatton Garden Diamond District. James and Julian shared where they sought inspiration, what were the greatest challenges, and how wellbeing and user experience were central throughout the project.
