Exploring Stonecutter: CO—RE hosts City Architecture Forum members for a tour of the Farringdon workspace
We recently welcomed visitors for a City Architecture Forum tour and presentation at Stonecutter, to explore the City of London’s lowest embodied carbon workspace. The tour was hosted by Alex Thorpe, Associate Director at CO—RE, alongside project collaborators James Elliott, Director at tp bennett, and Eddie Jump, Technical Director at Thornton Tomasetti.
Visitors explored the pioneering, sustainable workspace including the multi-level entrance, and the new pocket park. The presentation that followed offered a chance to understand how Stonecutter achieved the lowest embodied carbon score for a major new build within the City of London, which was below the London Plan’s aspirational 600 kg CO₂/m² target.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the City Architecture Forum tour. We hope you enjoyed discovering what the 13-storey workspace will offer its occupiers.
