The CO-RE team enjoys time away from the desk for Mental Health Awareness Week

Wellbeing in the workplace is a topic we are always mindful of at CO-RE, which is why for Mental Health Awareness Week 13th- 17th May, the team took part in a range of activities to take some time away from their desks.

On Monday, we started the week on an active note, enjoying a group cycle class at the nearby Digme Fitness studio. After breaking a sweat, by Tuesday we were ready for some food, with a welcome cookery class from the wonderful team at Migrateful, a charity that helps refugees and asylum seekers on their journey to employment and independence. By Wednesday it was time to decompress and what better way than via Stretching in the City providing massages at our office. The perfect mid-week relaxation technique.

We are all aware of the importance and impact regular activity can have on mental health throughout the week the team completed a steps challenge. Due to the pressures all of us face with work-life balance, getting enough steps in each day can often be a difficulty, but setting an achievable goal to get moving has helped to prioritise this each day. Supporting Mind in their mental health initiatives, together we have donated £500.

Thanks to Digme Fitness, Migrateful and Stretching in the City for a great week of endorphin-boosting activities.
